Award Winning | February 2017
At the Mid-Winter conference of the Association of Water Board Directors (AWBD), the Southern Montgomery County Municipal Utility District, along with CobbFendley as their District Engineer, received the Water Conservation Project Award for their implementation of a Reclaimed Water System that continues to improve and enhance the lives of the District’s constituents.  CobbFendley was responsible for the planning, design and construction management of the reclaimed water plant and Phase I distribution system.

New Associates Announced | November 2016

Congratulations to CastleRock Communities and the Goose Creek Landing Development for being named the #1 fastest-selling residential subdivision in Houston by The Houston Business Journal. CobbFendley serves as the District Engineer for the community and provided land development, surveying, and construction management services to include master planning; design and construction of paving, detention and associated Water, Sewer & Drainage utilities, annexation and zoning of more than 230 residential lots.

CobbFendley Welcomes Bob Cuellar, P.E. | June 2016
Robert (Bob) Cuellar, P.E. has joined CobbFendley as a Director in the firm’s Transportation Group. Bob brings more than 35 years of transportation engineering experience in the areas of project organization, transportation financing, corridor analysis and agency coordination. With his more than 20 years of work history with the Texas Department of Transportation, and more than 15 years as a consultant, Bob will assist CobbFendley in developing transportation opportunities and projects.

Montgomery County Office | April 2016
CobbFendley celebrated the opening of their new Montgomery County office with a ribbon cutting from the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce. The office, located in the Conroe, Texas, is the latest regional location meant to provide local presence in a growing community where CobbFendley is currently providing engineering and surveying services. On hand to celebrate the new location were company founders, William Fendley and Odis Cobb, as well as CobbFendley President Dale Conger and many of CobbFendley’s local leadership team. Subject Matter Experts for municipal, transportation, traffic, power delivery, natural gas and oil pipeline design, telecommunications, survey, development, subsurface utility engineering and utility coordination are currently located in the Montgomery County office.

CobbFendley Recognized as One of Frisco's Top Frims | April 2016
CobbFendley was selected as a finalist for the Frisco Chamber of Commerce’s 2015 Large Business of the Year category.  With an audience of over 700 people, a video featuring CobbFendley’s Vice President J. Cal Bostwick was highlighted during the opening presentation.  Sam Johnson, Third District of Texas Member of Congress, congratulated him and stated, “You should be proud that your devotion to your work and leadership is being recognized.  I commend your hard work and commitment to Cobb, Fendley and Associates, Inc.” CobbFendley’s Large Business of the Year finalist selection is a testament to the company’s dedication and success.  Through steady growth and strong leadership, CobbFendley will continue its pursuit of excellence both in Frisco and throughout the North Texas territory.

Odis Cobb Awarded Lifetime Achievement Award | February 2016
Odis Cobb, P.E., RPLS, one of CobbFendley’s founding Principals was recently honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the University of Houston, Cullen College of Engineering Alumni Association. The Lifetime Achievement Award honors alumni who have impacted the engineering profession, community and society through demonstrated leadership, ingenuity and service.
